Elon Gone!

It seems that the most hated man in the US has parted ways with the second most hated man. Elon Musk has officially resigned his unofficial position as the Secretary of the unsanctioned and unapproved Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). It is left to the reader to say whether Trump or Musk is the most hated, but does it matter?

Musk began his chainsaw massacre of the US government by shutting down whole departments and agencies without any plan or forethought. Though he eliminated all those agencies that had oversight over his companies, he claimed this was not his purpose, just side effect of his cleaning house. Thousands of highly skilled civil servants were unceremoniously canned by the firer in chief. Thousands had to be rehired because their jobs and skill sets were necessary to the proper functioning of the government. Musk claimed to have saved over $135 million at the estimated cost of $150 million. What a bargain!

Musk's Tesla company has been under protests and boycotts. He said he needed tp return to his company to set things right. So far, it hasn't made a lick of difference.

RIP Musk's Shadow Presidency. You won't be missed.
